    Is it too late to request a HUD replicating the GRID Autosport HUD?:oops:
    I know the information displayed can't be compared but in my opinion the style of HUD is very attractive to the eye :D

    With new UI and new way to render objects on screen you will see a lot of new HUD like that, lol, you need to wait just a little

    We have made a lot of HUDs mainly for pleasure and also to better understand something that in effect is obsolete... but I think we have shown that is possible to draw a lot of interesting HUDs. We are now moving to something very useful in races and endurance... where driver must not be distracted by not mandatory (also if nice to look) data. And it is also important to have these data in "order of importance to our eyes"...
    As I said, this kind of "coded" HUDs will never be exhaustive like a plugin (TrackMap...), but I haven't the skills for porting it to the DX11 and the author, as well as the new owners seem no longer interested into it.

    Just a preview of one of the incoming HUDs...
    As I said in the previous post, we'll provide the new "HALO" hud in 3 variants, where our efforts were focused to show mandatory data for racing (also Endurance races), to be seen in a while.

    i like the relaxing colors of number 9 and 11 hud
    about number 11 GT there is an error with damage car icon (there is an open wheel car). can you check that?

    Due to the new "gauges" that can be shown with the new build of rFactor2, I started updating the several HUD we made...
    ATM, I ONLY updated, quickly and using the same layouts, the first 2 HUD for OW and GT.
    As I'll have time to work on them, I'll update the most of the other HUDs...

    I added few info:
    - delta best (on top left side, in red / green)
    - prediction laps remaining for fuel (on top right, in white)
    - last lap fuel consumption (on bottom right, in white)

    Would there be a possibility of moving up the entire central block? with an option to lower or raise to the desired height?According to what car use is sometimes more or less depends, a free option, as is the block? ,Thank you.

    Working on HUDs, I noticed that old "fuel+remaining laps", now with 1 decimal shows different info vs. the new "fuel" that has 2 decimals. Difference is very wide. I haven't time to test on different tracks and mods to understand which one is the right one, but I hope the last developed gauge.
    In the meantime, to avoid confusion, I replaced the old "fuel" with the new one. So I re-updated the GT#1+2 and OW#1+2, adding also the GT#3 and OW#3.

    The new HUD' structure brings something new and also simplifications, but I don't think that it possible to reposition, live and by user, the "objects". It is possible with a plugin, and S397 wrote that will release the code in the next year.

    Is my intention to update (quickly as possible) all HUDs and then to develop one more with new gauges, etc... better ordered.

    How would one go about showing litres per lap on the screen ?
    With Trackmap this was possible and very handy for working out fuel usage for leagues.
    Now it is a process of driving a tank of fuel and dividing the info, not very efficient.
    Unless someone has a simpler method ?
    Slow Motion, your HUD is our preferred one and very good, thanks !

    I just added the info in the updated huds, because now it is available. Of course I haven't written an header ATM, we'll see later.

    We drove last night using HUD #11 but did not notice the litres/lap info.
    Could you say which HUD is showing this ?
    The HUD ran very well, probably the only thing I am missing on the screen now is Delta Best.

    Thank You so much for all your hard work... I used TrackMap and Delta Best before and like many other drivers i have my own personal preference's. I know you are limited now until you get the codes, which i hope is soon, but i would like to list some of my Wish/Hope list:
    1) being able to move hud to adjust for different cars and tastes.
    2) would love to see a module hud, where you can add/subtract things you like to and from base models.
    3) to change colors scheme. everybody eyes are different, your #12 is an excellent color contrast for me, but #3 has more of the things i want to see.
    4) would love to have Starting Lights as in track map that would appear at the start of the race. this really helps at some tracks.
    I know you have a lot of priorities of your own to follow and you have done Awesome so far, I am just giving some feedback..

    Atm, what you ask for, can be done only with a plugin, like we made long time ago with the G.I.D. for rFactor1 and then replicated with the Track Map for rFactor2. And it will be mad again and I'm sure much more when S397 will release the new API for dx11. But I'm not a coder, so in case I'll can only be of help to a coder.

    Anyway I do it for pleasure and my idea is that, once I'll have finished to update the current HUDs and some more new HUD, I'll be pleased to personalize few of the HUDs on request.
