rF2 mirrors have a 'fixed' view of the rear.
In real life if you move you head the view in the mirror changes.
rF2 this does not happen,it just stays the same,'fixed'.

Can the mirrors be 'turned on' for real life movement?

That's where I'm coming from yeah LFS.
When I 1st started in VR LFS was the one that got to me the most.
Now that I've got my VR legs LFS is one of the best for VR and the mirrors are a treat.

As far as I know, only iRacing and LFS currently have proper mirrors.

They have been requested a few times for rf2, and I'm sure they will be updated at some point.

makes a huge difference in VR

In theory should be easy to implement, basically you have the rear camera linked to head movement, as example you can suppose to have a go pro camera pointing your face mounted in a pole fixed on your head, your head will be the center and cam will rotate around it, same for strafe, etc etc

(something like this) mirrors should work this way but I am not a modder, maybe someone can try this, if doable or not
