For me, still the best car released by S397 so far. Amazing physics, well balanced, and a tire model that makes sense of what's going on beneath you.
From the balance of the car to the way the tires squeal exactly at the point you feel they should.
    More of this please !

@TheMattyOnline Nice video one again Matt, good stuff. I have questions. :D

Do you record races as you`re driving them? I`m thinking yes as I don`t think TCC is recorded is it?

    What level are the AI?

Do you setup the cars or just drive them out of the box as it were?

    What`s your rig specs/wheel etc?

Plus I completely agree. Really like the USF2000 and Matsusaka is absolutely one of the top 3 tracks in rF2. (maybe even top two)

    Hey thanks tjc.

So yes, i record while racing, Capturing CC at the same time as the game audio.

The AI level i adjust all the time depending on car/track and what I'm looking for in the final recording. It can be a bit of a balancing act as you want a good race showing decent AI behaviour like defending and fighting for corners, but also not disappearing off into the distance and driving solo around the track. A decent level seems to be around 95% for reasonable racing while being able to showcase the car/track. Aggression maybe 25-35% for the same reasons.

Setups largely depend on how much time I have, but generally are very close to default, as I'm trying to recommend or promote a mod as is, so that someone can pick it up and drive it as they see in the video.

    I have a slightly pony PC comprising an FX8350 / RX480 8GB with 16GB DDR3
Using an Oculus DK2 Headset mostly with ASW locked on but again depends on mod/track which gives 37.5fps with the DK2.

Wheel and pedals are bog standard Logitech G920 with H-shifter.

    @TheMattyOnline

Thanks for the info Matt, I appreciate it. I also adjust the AI level depending on car/track combo to be able to get a good race. I`m no alien. :D I`ve never done a video of any kind, and as it stands right now wouldn`t really know where to start. I`ve often fancied doing one though, even more so now I`m using TCC.

One thing though. I don`t use VR (no headset yet) and as I say, I know nothing about making videos but that seems like low fps to me but yet your vids look silky smooth... how does that work then?

They would look better at higher fps, but that's not the whole story. Movies until recently were generally run at around 24fps. They look smooth though.
It's much more important to get a smooth frame rate that doesn't stutter.

If I had a better PC and more HDD space, then I would output at 1080p instead of 720p and record at 75fps on the DK2.

    One day!

Ok cheers. I`ll research how to make videos and see how I get on... I`ve asked around here before but never really gave it a proper try. Will see how I get on... :)

10 lap sprint race against the AI (95%) at Zandvoort in the Formula 2 2012
Really tough with limited overtaking opportunities, but great fun!

Porsche 997 GT3-R on the laser-scanned SPA Francorchamps.

The video on the left was recorded in real-time.
The one on the right is the replay.

After a few days of practice. I believe I can squeeze the lap time to the mid 2:15's, maybe even high 14's.
Ran with the default setup, except a little less fuel.
Temperature at 15ÂșC, started with a green track.

(Sorry for the terrible aspect ratio. I have a small 17" monitor at 1280x1024 res, so I had to glue both videos together on 1920x1080)
