Whenever I join the WFG server, I login to the web page, sign in, click on join session etc. I get booted with a message "Server never received your Steam ID" Screenshot below Appears to be a common problem since someone just got booted before me, and a friend is having the same issue.
Thanks for the reply. Don't really care about a DX9 update unless you meant to say DX11 lol. But I feel like the servers should be top priority, since you are running a comp after all.
Yeah, don't know why mine was off. I don't remember disabling it. Gotta somehow get the message out to others who are having the same issue.
As I mentioned on discord I think some people may of accidentally turned it off due to the advice in the news forum thread, thinking it was a 3rd party plugin perhaps.
I'm new on rF2 but i'd like to join. I've buy the car, registered on site, i click on join, open steam, give ok, but don't open rf2, only launcher and stops. I try to download Silverstone on steam workshohp, but download stops 1mb before end. Can you help me please?
I keep getting booted for the same thing, steam id. I have steamplugin.dll on which was default, I'm not a tickerer for the settings so my whole games should be stock bar a couple of simple settings, views, yaw,tire noise, I have a sim instrument dash,and pedal overlay, that's about it, any suggestions would be cool. My problem was resolved by verifying install which is done through steam now,not rfactor launcher like it used to be. Re downloaded 3 files which failed in the check.That was not the issue though, I had to make sure my real name in the .rfactor folder was the same as my real name I used to sign up to the WFG comp. can't remember the directories but the name folder in the .rfactor folder has 3 lines, 1-first name 2-last name 3-nickname On both lines 1 and 2 I had my full name, so it didn't match what I used in my WFG sign up. This was initially done by me because I was trying to enter a league, and that was a requirement to have your real name but I stuffed it up somehow.. Lol my bad.. Hope this helps someone..
Funny thing is that even in single player mode Mclaren car is nowhere! Did check "INSTALLED" folder and Mclaren car is there! If we have a way to unistall the mod and install it again maybe we cansee the car in the list of installed cars. Forgot to say that in the launcher i see mclaren 1.0 and mclaren 1.01(something like this) is installed BUT greyed with an asterisk after. I cant unistall nor delete them.Searched down below the list in launcher and found two entries with mclaren in them,they were created after i joined 2 different leagues and raced the mclaren. But when i try to join the competition servers all went wrong!No vehicles to choose!!! It seems like i dont have the mod installed. Please can you you suggest a proper way to 1)Unistall anything related to mclaren car and 2)install the mod again fresh with no leftovers.
