There is another version of Indianapolis GP where the curbs are "realistic" with good cut-track configuration? not higher as the official one.
When S-397 went to update Indianapolis to DX11 I was really hoping they re-checked the curbs for the 2014 version. I really enjoy lapping there since it's one of the well polished tracks we have, and it's layout is interesting enough for a short lap. But, the "off" curbs always bugs me, specially the chicane, which ends up being a very different corner. I understand why some things are a little off because ISI did it while the 2014 layout was still under construction. That's why I was looking forward to the update. *And also, the real deal it's actually different and better now than is was on the video you posted. Look:
