uumm well if the Real Life Series has it Off and in RF2 it's Off on a Server/League then that's realistic Personally I race with TC if the real car has it or off if not, I'm after as much realism as possible.
For some reason I don't use rFactors TC or ABS etc even though my league has it enabled , probably only low I think. That might explain a few things! If the real life cars have it, then it should be in the mod.
Gotta agree with Marc and ADSTA that if the real car has it, the mod should have it. As for using it, that is down to personal preference. Our league has low abs/tcs enabled, and medium in the rain. Personally, with any mod, the only time I use TCS is in the rain(and low at that), otherwise it only makes you slower. Same with the real guys, I remember watching the Pirelli World Challenge a year or two ago, and the guy who came in third(GTA class I believe) was saying that his tcs was broken, but it didnt matter because he didnt use it for that track anyhow.
Yea I need to find out how to turn it off and on some corners I really need it some corners it slows me down
In the controls settings page, I think it's listed in the Aids tab. Just assign a button to it. If the server allows only Low TC you push the button once for on then once for off. If the server allows High TC you have to cycle through Low, Medium, High then Off.
Yes. It is also in the Settings>Difficulty/Aids(in the garage) with all the other driving aids; steering/braking help, abs, damage, etc.
Always raced with all help off, thats how the legue runs it.. probably explains why people join the server do a few laps cant drive and leave.. (it hones way better skills).
