Just had a really nice race using full grid of Enuracers at Silverstone. My personal prefrence - I still wish braking phase to be easier to understand from FFB, and flat spots easier to happen (so that careless braking is penalized, although this is not F1) but maybe it is just me, and it is impossible to keep everyone happy Just sent you guys some beer money, v1.5 is definetely a step up from the v1. There's one more thing I think would be a nice touch for this mod. Rf2 has "Self in rearview mirror" feature, and it does seem to have couple of issues (BMW). Rear wing keeps appearing/disappearing, and mirror itself (the reflection position) seems to be too far back inside of a car. You may want to check this out https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/self-view-in-mirrors-why-not.55756/#post-895905. Cheers!
Have been enjoying this mod, kudos to the team. The only thing I think it needs is a bit of polish to some of the car interiors, for example, the flat 6 cars.
The GT class cars definitely feel more "alive" and less sluggish on transition than before. Big thumbs up there. Can't wait until the newer GTE cars start getting phased in. Going to be awesome! I do sense all cars could use a little more brake torque, as it's mostly impossible to induce any wheel lock unless you're trying some super aggressive trail-braking. Only the F6 Cup cars require any real pressure modulation to keep from locking a wheel. All other cars you can go to full pedal travel until turn-in.
The Enduracers mod for rF1 is my favorite of all time, and it looks as though the rF2 version will soon steal that accolade away. I sincerely hope that after you finish your core releases for the mod you will consider bringing some classic P1 cars in. To drive the older Audi, Peugeot and Acura models would be wonderful.
Does anyone know if the Flat6 mode is planned to rework to DX11 standard too? In which time horizont?
Don't know remember where they said this, but they basically said there was a replacement for the car in the works.
Flat6 = Flat6 Cup in Flat6 Series/ Flat6 GTC in ES Flat6 GTE is only in ES and will be replaced in the future.
No, why ? The physics are common to Flat6 GTC & Flat 6 Cup but the mods are separated because of body differences/lights and sounds (Cup/Super Cup) and Skins. We updated the GTC physics into the ES Mod, so the mod will be updated separately for the guys using only Flat6 Series at physics point of view and to cover DX11 aspects. NB: The subject of the mod to continue the discussion is here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/flat6-series-rf2-build-2-00.49679/
I imagine current factory LMP1s will be problematic until S397 delivers code to support energy recovery systems. But I agree with BobDobbs' earlier post that some "historic" LMP1s would be fantastic, particularly as some other cars in Endurance Series are from that era.
Thx for your answer, I know that Porsche GTC is part of ES and his physic is the same like it will be in specialized Flat6 mod, it´s clear. But my question was meant rather like "when can we expect the update Flat6 mod v2.0 to the DX11 standard, including skins, body/lights differences and so on?".
That's not sheduled, sorry. The Endurance Series rF2 will remain without P1 cars, and we do not plan (or can/want) develop new era cars.
