Track & Layout Used: Nola Layout A, Silverstone (New 397 versions)
    Car Used: APEX 977
Applicable Settings: PP off, AA 2X, (tried more / none)
Bug Report: Blinding white blooms behind cars IMG_20170501_233558853.jpg
Steps to reproduce: Run the APEX 977 mod on these tracks and come up behind another AI car.
    System Specs: i7/GTX750ti

For whatever reason this is happening with this particular mod. I am hearing other reports of weird "bloom" anomalies so maybe its related.
I have tried with all video settings in setup except the Post filters (always off)
Also: Integrity check, deleted shaders in userdata/logs/shaders and userdata/logs/cbash.
...and due to other issues I have removed all 3rd party plugs.

Has the car been updated? It probably used the light flare shader, so that's what you're seeing.

No, this is the DX9 version...
Are all DX9 mods that arent updated specifically for DX11 now obsolete, or will rF2 eventually build in ways that old mods will still run smoothly?
If they are now useless until updated, I would like to prune all the old ones out!
    Thanks Coutie.

Not useless... but may be buggy.

All mods that don't use custom shaders should work fine as such in DX11 if you turn post FX (i.e. bloom) off.

What has been updated on official content? Sorry I have been out of the rF2 loop for a while.

I tested the USF2000 at Loch Drummond and both the car & track had extremely blown out bloom. I had to turn off PP.
