May have been already asked but curious as to why the Formula Renault 3.5 2014 doesn't have Michelin-branded tyres?

That's because Studio-397 had to pay licence fee to Michelin then.

Sounds like one of those atrocious ultra cheap chinese brands you can get for 50€ a piece. It's no wonder some people have complained about the driving feeling after the patch ;)

Guys you need to keep in mind that the budget of rf2 isn't now where near that of console games or iracing, you have paid a onetime purchase price,i for one am greatfull for what we have, yes things could.and do need improvements, but if they aren't going to charge extortionate amounts like other sims, then can we really grumble.
I would gladly cough up some more dough to help rf2 reach its full potential, but until then, let's just enjoy what we have

    What he said.....
I am an Xbox refugee. Codies F1 game £50 per year, xbox live £40 per year so theres £90 every year. RF2 one third of that for life!
Rf2 is the deepest the best and its very very cheap. My rig costs now dwarf any sim costs.
