Pretty please S397 can we have the car specific FFB and the camera seat position in cockpit be saved for all cars of that type, not just that cars number. So when I select say the red DW12 and set a ffb level/seat position, then ALL DW12 will have that same value(s) - not just that car number.. Am I making sense. its bugged me for years this!! lol
+ a billion,some cars this works and some it doesn't,I've even tried saving controller profiles for each car,it's a nightmare to find the right ffb given that dx11 doesn't support pluggins
yeah but come on its 2017.. what harm would it do, to save he ffb with every car - like every other game lol?
+1! This needs to be an option. Kind of on the same subject but does anyone know if its possible to save car seat adjustments (move forwards/backwards/up/down) per car? At the minute if I change these parameters in one car it also affects other cars that I later choose.

Try running rfactor 2 as Administrator to see if it changes something. Or, as first, join the Game, make the Settings, leave the game and check if it was written into the ini File.
This info has nothing to do with requested feature. As you say you would need to always the same car in terms of .veh to get settings applied. The OP has no UAC problems. With your post, less experienced forum readers might conclude that OP is requesting something already implemented which is not the case. OP seems to be proposing to associate all these settings to hdv instead of veh.
I would like to say that I think it is a great idea to include a survey associated to all wish list threads. It should help priorizing game enhancements. Something similar could be done regarding bug reports or troubleshooting regarding affected users in the former and if the thread helped to solve the issue in the latter.
Agree, anything changed for one car/skin should also alter all the skins for that particular car, FFB, car setup and seat/mirror position.
On this note on saved settings, and sorry to butt in here its just a question, but can the camera seat position in cockpit be saved somehow for each car like in Assetto Corsa or is this also something that we could request? Not sure if im doing it wrong but i move the cockpit camera with the up/down forward/backwards and when i get into another car the seat position is like it was for the last car and im sitting on the floor/up in the roof etc.
Same issue here, but as we don't want to hijack this thread may be worth starting a new topic concerning this. Should be possible though, also achievable in iRacing.
Ive pointed marrs to this thread, if they chose to ignore it moving it wont make a difference. However of a mod want to move it go ahead.
