Just a quick note to say Thanks to the Team At S397 for all the work you must have been through in the time it took to bring us DirectX 11 . For being so open with every part of the development and for listening to us , man , i think that bit alone deserves credit (especially listening to me, lol). rFactor 2 is just so much better since the move to DX11 and the last update just solidified rF2 at the top of the Racing Sim category . Cheers and i hope the $$ start to roll in for you . 2LJ out.
Agreed 100% Biggest & best updates rfactor2 Has ever received & we still have the new UI to look forward too & Replays again yes please I use to get so frustrated during the ISI update builds & obviously deleted rfactor2 when I became a vr user Now sim racing paradise is here
Full Ack. IMHO, it was a very smart move to let us (the public) participate in this beta test and pump out updates like there's no tomorrow. For one, S397 kept their promise to deliver DX11 in time and for the other, the feedback and turn around time has become impressively quick, resulting in blistering fast progress on all fronts. Well done, S397 ! Keep it up !
I've posted a few thank you posts over the passed week so I won't do one again, but I will just give all the comments a +1. for me the best thing is how active the devs have been in the forums, they give a "noted" acknowledgment to all the issues found, unlike the most expensive sim racing game, where they will just ignore such posts, goes to show the character difference of the Dev teams. Oops I did it again
@studio397 Your turning rF2 from a Diamond-in-the-Rough into a total Gem. Thank You! I'm really excited about the future of rF2 in your hands and can't wait for DLC so that I can throw money your way because you deserve it. Love it.
what was it like in the rfactor2 isi forums prior to the 397 announcements ? were things drying up a tad or was it still very active ( I'd not visited for the last couple of years )
Lots of bitching, complaining about small things.... you know... the usual forum stuff. The activity on the forum had no reflection on what we still had in the game of rF2. Believe it or not, there was still a game to play before VR.
Yep, excellent job devs! Thank you for being so accessible and transparent with your work, it really gives it a nice community feel
