    Hello everyone,

thanks in advance for opening my thread.

So basically I bought an OSW Simucube kit by Tomo a couple months ago and have been using it so far with Iracing and Assetto Corsa and I have to admit its awesome.
Unfortunately I havent got the same result in Rfactor2 and Rfactor 1 (but I dont care much about RF1)
I have 2 main problems, the first one is that I cant match a 1:1 wheel rotation even though using Force Feedback MMOs and ingame configuration (for example: i will put a value o 900 degrees in both MMOs and ingame but still I will turn my physical wheel 90 degrees left and ingame will only be 20 degrees), this has lead me to suspect that rf2 is not recognizing my wheel as a wheel and instead is recognizing it as a gamepad or something. The second problem is that kerbs, bumps, or deformations in the track feel way too strong in force feedback in comparision to the rest of the track. I believe this last problem is easily fixed.

I tried using a lot of different values in controller.json but I really dont know what im doing and been experiencing some weird lag in rf2 after messing with that.

does anybody know a way to fix this ??

please, I really want to use rf2

Check on the controls Page in the garage and see if "Vehicle Set" is ticked. If so the vehicle mod sets the max rotation or steering degrees.

Make sure your MMOS rotation matches the one you use in your controller file you are loading :)

I always load a car in game and look at maximum rotation of the wheel (in garage options tab inputs). Then I go back to mmos and set rotation the same like the car I wanna use. Back to game and drive.

I use ffb smoothing of 4 or 5 in the controller settings depending on the car :)

We are having same problem with steering angle. But we don't understand exactly how you solved it. Could you explain with a bit more detail or in a different way? Where do you look at "maximum rotation of the wheel"? What do you mean exactly by "garage options tab inputs". Thank you very much

When in game go to the settings page where you configure your controller.
There is a option called Vehicle Set, if my memory serves me correct.
When you tick the box the steering rotation is displayed for the car.
Leave it ticked and put that number into Mmos

Go to track and back to pits and then you will get the correct number, there is the posibility of having the rotation degrees of Any other car previoulsy selected.

    regards

Try my setting if you want to.

Thats for the GT 500, for the Corvette you have to put 540° of steering angle and so on.

    Well done Gonzas.
So much easier with pictures using your pc.
I was at work using my phone waiting for the 2 minute heavy shower of rain to stop. :( Is it too much to ask for either no rain, or constant rain. Not this bloody female rain, can never make its mind up! ;) /rant

Hello people! The problem is that kerbs, bumps, or deformations in the track feel way too strong. FFB Smoothing doesn't help. Wheel - SIMUCUBE 2. I need to decrease only kerbs, bumps, i don't need to decrease all ffb. It's impossible to drive, it's funny lol that i don't find this in settings. All Json file is okay. So, wtf??

    Try to adjust
    "Steering torque sensitivity":1.2
"Steering torque sensitivity#":"Sensitivity curve applied to representable torques: 0.0=low 1.0=linear 2.0=high"
    between 1.1 - 1.3

Have you tried adjusting "Slew Rate" in TrueDrive?
