According to this page Studio-397 have updated some old ISI content to work with DX11. I have subscribed to all of this content and downloaded and installed successfully. However I can't find where steam has put the ".rfcmp" files. I need these files for my dedi server to put into the "Packages" folder so people can auto download from server if they don't have the content.

With previous Workshop content I have been able to find these files in subfolders off of "...\steamapps\workshop\content\..." Please help. :)

    \steamapps\workshop\content\365960

At least in my install, inside the 365960 folder there are more folders which have the .rfcmp files, make sure you don't mistakenly use the .rfcmp.cache files.

Unfortunately, they are all still at "...\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\365960\", taking unnecessary space of more than 30 GB!

Yes you will find .rfcmp files inside those folders. However the following are not:
    • Atlanta Motorsports Park
    • Mores
    • Silverstone
    • Indianapolis Motor Speedway
    • DW12
    • Howston G4 & G6
    • Stock Cars
I was told on Discord by one of the devs to use the ones found in the "cache" folder with the extension .cache and just remove that extension when putting them into the "Packages" folder.

Could one of the devs confirm that here please?

I saw the files in the "cache" folder but they had the .cache extension so I wasn't sure if they would work.
The .cache files I said not to use were only a few kb in size so just a wee bit small to be a car or track. ;)

Not a Dev but this is what I have done ;)
Just remove the ".cache" part of the file name.

Please help with this post as I have done what others have said to do here and deleted the .cache extension, this has not obviously increased the 1kb size of the file?
Anyway, blindly I continued on by putting the file into packages but still no luck... What am I doing wrong??
This is all doing my head in so I am at the stage of forgetting about trying to run a dedi server and am getting a bit peeved off.
I Really am impressed with how S397 are improving this DX11 beta so far and would like to keep using Rf2 as my preferred sim.
@Christopher Elliott Help would really be appreciated.:(:(:(

The files are found in "...\rfactor2\cache\"

I don´t know why but after doing a clean install of Rfactor 2 yesterday and select da DX11 Stable version, i saw that some workshop content are not available in the game menu (like Portugal 2009). I have to select da DX11 beta normal version and after that the game download all the content from the workshop. Anyone have this problem?

I remember reading that the "stable builds" will not get updates ..this keeps it ,well stable ! lol ..With a fresh install you will need to first run the latest beta or the DX9 latest to get all the files .. then switch to the stable version ..
