StockCar Series '17 : Fixed Setup With both a Championship & a Chase Cup ! For this StockCar Oval series, Drivers will be competing to claim the Chase Cup trophy as well as the usual Points Championship. The Chase Cup The Series is divided in 2 Stages of 3 Rounds each, plus the Finale. At the end of Stage 1, ten Drivers are qualified for Stage 2 : all the race winners plus the best classified Drivers. At the end of Stage 2, five Drivers are qualified for the Finale : all the race winners plus the best classified Drivers. At the end of the Finale, the best positionned Driver among the 5 qualified win the Chase Cup. The Championship The Championship is the usual classification format, based on Points scored race after race (40,37,36,35,34...). Running alongside the Chase Cup, it will ensure everyone has a goal to pursue untill the end of the Series, and allow new Drivers to join us during it too. Fixed Setup During this Series, the car setups will be fixed : everyone will be using the same, enforced by the Server. This is intended to simplify the setup process, and thus put more emphasis on the specificities of Oval racing. The fixed setup will be based on those provided by Garry "Machine" here (Thank you sir, we already owe you most of the tracks !), maybe with some adjustments.
