Hi, I have only 90 servers on the lobby list ( when you click the double helmets). Last week I changed my internet supplier, so the new one came with a new router and I found this problem. Router setup says all ports are open (unrestricted). Besides router change, signal now come through fiber optic cable while before was phone wiring. During the change of supplier, having no service for a couple of days, I tried to open RF2 twice without web access and Steam update failed twice.
    Any idea? Thanks.

Yeah this is a common problem with some routers/ISPs and Steam matchmaker (basically what rF2 uses is 100% Steam implementation for the matchmaking service). I think I had this problem already 10 years ago with Counter-Strike on some router and I solved it by turning off the hardware firewall.

    Hi,
first make a router update, set the config to default. You don't need Port Forwarding for joining to a server.
The same on your Windows Computer. You don't need firewall roules for the Clientsoftware.
Check your Windowssystem, all Updates ok? Driver new?

Many thanks, weird, searching Cisco update web site, didnt found my router serial model (3900) list jump from 3800 to 4000. Also when going to router setup, Administration, there is no update option. Wondering must change router to solve the problem.

Well, actually is not a router, is a Modem-Router fixed to a IP address, so I cant change it.

Here is the port settings I did, but on Port Forwading Tester, test said they are closed. So I guess this is not the proper way to do.
