Hi guys! Anyone have Skip Barber setups? I think is a very funny car, I run in Laguna Seca, Sao Paulo, Portimao wich are tracks with a lot of (I didn't knkow the word in english, so I say it in Spanish) "constantes cambios de peso en el coche" and I lost control of the back of the car usually. There are a setup to gain back downforce? Thanks.
As far as I know, the Skip Barber doesn't have any down force, or very little. It relies on mechanical grip. There is very little setup adjustment for the car as it is designed to be tricky to drive fast on purpose, being a school car. I'm sure a guy on the iracing version set a very fast lap, reversed all the settings he could and drove an almost identical lap! It's the driver that makes most of the difference in the Skip Barber
Off throttle oversteer: Lower rear anti roll bar and/or Lower rear ride hight. Skippy has this character to oversteer at turn in when you are off throttle. Brake at a straight line and keep a bit of throttle aplied at turn in, to keep more weight/load on the rear tires.
