    Hi,
I'm working on a mod. of RF2 with high speed.
I have the problem that AI also in the track (TSArea30kmv1) for test maximum speed to 460 km / h raises the foot from the accelerator and does not exceed 462 km / h, even if the vehicle driven by me reaches 500 km / h.
I saw that this also happens on rf1 on mod. Thrust SSC and redbullx1.

I already tried to change any variable, .tbc increasing the grip, engine, increasing power, all variables AI, but nothing

In your opinion why is this happening, it is a limit imposed by the AI rfactor?
Do you think you can solve this problem?

    Thanks for your help

    video TEST top speed

    - 1° test - normal pilot, top speed 494 km/h - OK
    - 2° test - key I pilot AI, top speed 461 km/h - problem lower speed, accelerator not 100%
    - 3° test - normal pilot with help brake, top speed 450 km/h - problem lower speed, active brakes even on the straights

I'd say a combination of AI and AIW is the limiting factor here. The AI doesn't want to get airborne, so if there are bumps in that road, that's probably why it's lifting, in anticipation of getting airborne.

edit: hmm looked at the video, the road seems flat as a pancake.

Have you tried checking/editing the way points speed? In the aiw editor under path menu there is an option to show speed text. You can also select individual way points and manipulate there forced speed with the arrow keys.

These problems are both rf1 rf2 that, with all the mod and all the tracks.
For convenience I have used this track all straight and even.
    You can try using Dallara DW12, modified BodyDragBase = (0.034), GeneralTorqueMult * = 2, GeneralPowerMult * = 2

I also did tests with .aiw, AI does not take into account the recorded speed, it continues to point in the waypoint, speed AI thinking near to 460 km / h.
I also tried to record very fast Fastline, but nothing.

Would changing any parameters in the .rcd improve anything, I wonder?

The waypoint speed can indeed be the limiting factor here. But as far as I remember the waypointspeed is given in percentage.

Waypoint speed can be manipulated further by using arrow keys up/down instead of left/right. That'll make the speed text red instead of white. I've had luck with this in the past when trying to make the AI stay full throttle over crests, bumps etc.

I did some testing at Indianapolis, I recorded a fast line with very high speeds.
    In .aiw files it then found the highest values - wp_test_speed = (162.893143) m / s = 583 km / h
    The AI, however, continues to calculate a maximum speed of 128 m / s = 461 km / m

I do not understand that the imite where does, I think only the ISI programmers can help.

I went ahead and double checked. There does seem to be a speed limit for the a.i. Even in the aiw editor I can't manually raise any way point past 286mph which equals 460kmh

Yes, it looks like a limit of the AI, I'm waiting for confirmation from ISI, if we can solve with a variable.
Which .aiw editor are you using?

Well i use Devmode, but I can not change the speed.
Enter AIW Editor - path sub menu - Visible/Actionable path FASTEST - show speed test - test for path 1 recorded speed - select waypoint, with shift and arrows can move the line but not fast speed !!!
    How you doing?

You did it all correctly except you need to use ctrl instead of shift with arrows :)

Strange, I've tried using ctrl, but also moves the Fastline and not the speed.
    I have rFactor2_SDK_1098.

Try pressing up and down instead of left to right
