Been in 2 league racers the last 2 nights and both using different car and track combos ,dumped most if not all drivers mid race???. Was told of one other OZ league having same issue, Is it just Aus. ???
We had a horrible night on Saturday running V8's @ Adelaide. Crashing mid race even corrupting mumble where my mic stopped working and my control.ini file causing my steering to operate in linear mode. First time crashes in a long time for me.
Not sure if this is just a coincidence there is a guy from Australia that races with us in EEC (Automobilista) yesterday he had connection problems too, his car was fine to us but he could not see our cars well so he had to leave. Maybe it's a problem in your country internet?
its not so much as a server crash... but more of a mass disconnect. Sundays race out of 22 racers only 5 of us didn't disconnect. i was one of the lucky 5 Sunday thou today (Monday) i was disconnected and out of 12 racers only 1 or 2 didn't disconnect. my question is. do we connect to the matchmaking server while racing? as there's been a fault with one of the oversea cables from Australia. with the race server itself being based in aus that may have caused it?
I'm no expert in networking or running servers so these are just ideas. I would say we are connected to matchmaker while racing. Somewhere in Steam (I think) you can view servers and driver names. I remember in the rF1 lobby the drivers names would be listed and you could text chat. I wonder if the recent heat played a part.
given the lack of reply's and threads from international racers i would hazard a guess @ the issue being to do with Australia's net and not rfactor2. weather from east to west here has been extreme from the norm so lets suck n see for now
