Suspension - Spring/DamperMult

    Can somebody shed some light on this please, I think I might have missunderstood this concept.

    As I have understood how this works is if you have your pushrods physicaly modeled in the correct angle, as it is for example in the USF2000, the spring/dampermults are not needed. I just skipped through the hdv of the USF and I noticed spring/dampermults are used aswell.

    I assume I understood this wrong then?
    That actually now is quite confusing as I have played with this for a long time now with quite satisfying results at times using different methods (vertical modeled with calculated ratios).

    Treat our pushrods as coilovers. Their inner side mounts don't change their location in relation to the chassis. What you see in the file, for spring/damper rates, are wheel rate multipliers I use as a way to emulate usage of rockers (with their own ratios I have averaged).
