    Hello,

I am just moving to Steam and am wondering how to duplicate the two hard drive approach from the original local RFactor setup.

Like many, I have an SSD for my operating system and spinners for other things. My original Rfactor 2 install had the program on the SSD and all of the content on a spinner. How does this work with Steam? Is seems Steam wants to install to one place only.

Can you install Steam on a non-OS drive? Will that work or affect performance?

    Thanks for your help.

After some Googling I found that one can add install folders on separate drives through the settings menu. Issue solved.

Exactly. And on top of that you can change directory of packages-folder (where rF2 mods as .rfcmp are stored) in the launcher.
