I have chrome working fine in game but in spinner its BLACK.

I'm using shader cube map specular map T1.

cube map is ticked live mapper and refmap0.

What's the trick to getting it ok in spinner?

The way I've solved some of those spinner issues is to make a duplicate object just for the spinner with different material. One for game which looks decent and one for spinner. Then just edit then gen files to load whichever you want. As for chrome I think the issue is the cube map which is absent in spinner.

The spinner is missing the environment reflection sphere. This is in the tracks but not all the third party ones. You may find the chrome want work on these tracks either. Chrome in rF2 works very differently to rF1.
rF2, the environment around the track actually reflects off the chrome. You can see the track objects moving through on the side off the car.
Unfortunate the spinner doesn't have this more so because there is no environment to reflect.
The spinner is a sphere in itself. I've tried to add a texture to the ISI one but it's tiled so it any texture is just screwed up with multitudes of itself. You know how tile textures work.

Nibiru, Your track, Magnificent Park is a good test track that uses the reflection sphere.
