You have port forwarding on all firewalls?
    Modem/router windows and antivirus?

yep all tested again, not antivirus installed neither o.s. firewall

note: already hosting servers through steam matchmaker (automobilista) on other ports without issues.

I test if the ports are open when I launch rf2 dedi server and yes they are (64297/54297) but didn't appear on steam server list or rf2 server browser.

EDIT: server appear initially on list, but after second "refresh" didn't show up

Can you describe exactly the steps you did to work ?

I still couldn't see my server in steam, only via HTTP port (https://world.rfactor.net/server-list)
A friend of mine had success by changing the configuration of network card on windows. But for me not worked.

He defined a secondary IP as his external IP (https://www.whatismyip.com/) in IPV4 protocol

Yes it can come from the port.
At my internet provider, the ports mentioned in the game are reserved, just change them and also change them in the router and firewall and this should pass.

    Great thread.
Tried everything here, but cant get my server to work.. I was able to use that "connect+" command and see my server and join.

I was not able to join the server with that:
    "C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Launcher\Launch rFactor.exe" +connect 192.168.0.1:64297 +Password

Just to make sure. That 192.168.0.1 should be my ip? I checked ip from http://whatismyipaddress.com/

also i opened those port from router, but no help... Sadly everything worked before steam.

Is anyone able to help? Would love to make server for my mod

You're trying to connect to your own server, on the same PC you're running rF2 as a client?

    UDP+TCP 54297
    TCP 64297
    UDP 64298
    UDP 64299
change them in the router and firewall and this should pass.
Check if the Anti-Virus didn't block the dedicated.

    Already checked them expect antivirus

I have no idea how to check anti-virus (avast), will google it :)

And it's weird that I can connect with old matchmaker, but not with steam version. Is there chance that antivirus blocks steam?

If Steam has a new installation the anti-virus can block the new dedicated server if it's not authorized.
