Great to see the online pay wall is gone. But brace yourself, the lifetime owners whine is coming I wish (and hope) they'll be able to license the full GTE grid actually, would be awesome. But happy for the Corvette appearing first
Lifetime owner here & no whining here. Thumbs up from me! I like the look of the new interface & all I want is VR support. I've not touched rF2 since getting a rift and rF2 is by far my favourite feeling sim. For me that says a lot about VR immersion & racing simulators. Really hoping for the scheduled Q1 '17 release of VR support.
Yes yes yes, good news! I have a soft spot for the C7.R and I've always wanted to play rF2 online without paying extra, I'm a happy bunny
Interesting, I'm curious to see how is managed the car selection on a multi-category mod (like the ES), not sure it's viable to have to pass all the cars one by one to be able to select the last one of the mod. Very curious to see how this work in live
The developement pace of the new graphics engine surprises me, i didn't expect first internal tests such early, respect ! The screenshot of the new user interface looks very promising, i like the small text beside the car, also the alphabetical bar on the bottom to move fast thru the list. Hope to see more soon. Still miss physic improvements though.
Official C7.R! Oh wow!! The UI design seems to be heading in the right direction. I quite like the idea of keeping a bit of traditional rFactor orange in there. I hope some tech info for each car will be available along with the prose description. On a related note, the USF2000 was not launched with an accompanying profile page in the manner that cars had on ISI's site. Can we expect a return of these, or perhaps similar info in another place or format? The best of those profile pages had some useful info about driving style and setup recommendations, I'd like to see as much as that kind of info as we can get for every car. Please!
Oh boy. After the fantastic USF2000 I'm truly bursting to get my mitts on the Radical. It's a car I've loved for quite some time now. Radical, Nola, C7.R, VR, DX11, free online its almost too much to take in. As a lifetime subscriber I take no issue with the move to free online if it helps rF2 flourish.
On the UI screenshot there's a little orange arrow next to "Vehicle Selection: All Cars and vehicles", to me that suggests we'd select a Full Series from that Arrow and then see those cars in that Series appear in the scrolling list view at the bottom. Of course when mixing mods the All Cars and vehicles would be the obvious choice. (remembering this is a WIP screenshot so anything can change yet).
