Fix the Classic Gmotor AI not overtaking issue pls.

    yeah the sâme old thing that happens in rf1 , rf2 AMS, rre. Please fix the ai so when they utilize the draft they actually pull out and overtake, not just tap the brakes. Otherwise think the ai is still the best in the sim world!

    A lot of this comes down to how the AIW for a particular track is made, how the AI is adjusted and which setup the AI is driving with (gear ratios for example).

    It's all about the tracks AIW, many custom/converted track don't include paths.

    so that would suggest not one track from either reiza or ISI has the correct AIW, as I've seen this happen on devs tracks in both titles. Theres even a video somewhere with the brabams at indy tapping the brakes with hundreds of yards before the next corner!

    Im not entirely convinced its "just" the AIW. If you could show me a track that this works at, ill concede gracefully :)

    It's multiple factors, AIW, AI talent and AI setup. There are plenty of combos where the AI will overtake on straights, some combos where they won't.

    Hexa I think youre wrong here.
    He means the drafting thing, that indeed does not work (most of the times).
    When it is dependend on something else than coding, than it´s the car/mod itself.
    Nothing to do with AIW or talent.

    MOD being the common factor here, don't blame the platform for insufficient features of MOD content, pretty simple.

    im not talking about mods I'm talking about all the stock vanilla content!

    Then you need to give some more info, which track and vehicle combination can you give as an example ? Let's see a video of your 'problem'

    A video seriously, its a common issue.. Its in AMS its in rf2. show me a video where it doesn't happen lol

    Maybe you haven't raced enough gmotor sims against the ai ?:) Why oh why are "some" of you so blind when theres an issue right in front of your face with rf2. It bewilders me.

    MSportDan, Studio397 are more than likely working on AI and this could be one area they are looking into, repeating yourself on various forums isn't going to help anymore than it already has. Patience is required please.

    First time ive mentioned it for rf2, its not my go to sim atm. But i know its an issue with the AI. If S397 could look at it, then it will be appreciative. I know theres probably tonnes to address including AI.
