Thanks for all your continuing hard work on this awesome mod. There is an almost endless amount of tweaks that could be done to bring everything up to full rF2 standard, but it is already tons of fun and pleasant overall.

One thing I did notice that isn't in the rF1 to rF2 category was that the instruments on some (all?) of the cars have graphical issues when running on non-1998 mod tracks. It would be great to be able to use the cars on any track and any other cars on the 1988 tracks without compatibility issues. The cars and the tracks are already good enough for that!

It is so nice to see such work happening with rF2, thank you very much! :)

Did those cars had 3 pedals (clutch) and H-shifter? From my knowledge of F1 history, sequential/auto clutch was added if first half of 90's. Anyone knows otherwise?

Yes, 1988 cars were still conventional 3 pedal & shifter.

Nigel Mansell raced the first seq shift F1 at Rio in 1989. He was so convinced it would break he booked an early flight out before the race would end. He won the race, and missed the BA flight.

I've read somewhere Prost opposed seq, considering h-shifting part of racer's skill. I saw video of Senna H-shifting F1, looks crazy at those speeds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeFqsWWG1qE
Will definitely try this mod specifically for this reason. Hopefully one day there will be animation for shifting in this mod.

Great mod, ever improving. It would be nice to have access to use custom skins.

    Cheers
