I'm hosting, and the server says it's up, but I can't find it in the lobby. Build 1098, Steam version. Also, there seem to be a bug that prevent me from opening the launcher while the server is up. If I close the launcher after I have hosted a game, I can't get the launcher up again because it thinks I'm already running rfactor2.
Same thing is happening to me. Others can see/join server but I neither see it nor join. I had no problems hosting with non-steam version. Ports (TCP/UDP) opened in router. Lifetime license, just transfered to Steam EP
I had the same (couldn't see/join). I set up a shortcut and used the +connect command to connect to 127.0.0.1 (with the correct port, obviously) to get around it. No idea why it wasn't working, and with the shortcut running I no longer cared.
Did the same thing but used my gateway's IP address instead and shortcuts takes me to Matchmaker server listing inside game. My server is shown there and yes I can join too
