    Hello ISI

I am quite appalled at rF2.
I have my graphics extremely reduce so I can play rF2.
    Graphics settings:
    View attachment 20192

Even with this setting, I can not play flawlessly rF2.
The price of the game is therefore an insolence.

    My hardware:
    • AMD FX 6350 Six Core Processor 3,90 GHz
    • 16,0 GB RAM
    • GeForce GTX 760
    • Win 7 64bit

What resolution are you playing at and what kind of FPS are you getting?

That GPU isnt exactly high end..

Come on, GTX 760 is fine card and there should not be any performance issues.

    Here's what you can try:

    Sichtbare Fahrzeuge 15
    Streckenrelektionen Niedrig
    Ungebungreflektionen Niedrig

    That might help :)

    What resolution are you running?

There's a lot of "it depends" in that statement. But yes, if he's running a single 1080p screen then yeah he should be getting decent FPS but we dont know what he's getting or what his expectations are

If Gerhard runs big numbers (more than 7-10 I think for FX processor) of AI cars, that can be the reason for low FPS. I can usually run about 10-15 without slowdowns on i7 myself.

I'm training with 44 URD Px and EGT AI's at Le Mans 91 without problems and high/medium settings, 1080p. FX6350, 760 Hawk, 8 gig ram, 60 FPS capped on json (rain and night also).

    I drive with 1920 x 1080 with a monitor.
My motherboard is an MSI 970A-G46
    Latest drivers (graphics, MBO)
    Max. Visible Vehicles 20
    FPS 80 -160

Unfortunately, I still get a bucking the graphic.

PS: Race Room, pCars, Assetto Corsa full graphic is not a problem

I can run 40 of the same cars with a Core i3 2100 and a 1gb HD 7850 also high/medium settings and 60fps locked once cars spread, but 1366x768, small monitor T.T I need to upgrade but the money keep running away from me :D
Reflections are off tho because if you don't run them High they kinda look like "Off" on all other settings just taking a lot of fps with it. xD

Check your temperatures, both CPU temperatures and GPU temperature, because maybe some component gets too hot and it throttles.
Also look for unwanted background programs running, viruses, etc.
If you are overclocking something, be it the CPU or GPU or RAM, try running with standard settings just in case.
    Maybe something of this helps...
    Good luck!!!

The temperature is fine (GPU, CPU)
All programs in the background are turned off.
For me rF2 has done so since it makes no fun anymore.
Without a good graphics I can also drive Mario Kart.
The Anschafung of rF2 taught me a lesson, never again.

The indexing of files, wireless devices, components on their way out, interrupt request issues, fragmentation, etc. can cause skipping or stuttering or whatever You want to call it. There are numerous things that could be Your issue and without knowing exactly what is going on, it is easy and often wrong to blame rf2. What I would do is start with ONLY official content from the official website (this one) and work from there. Turn all graphics to the lowest possible settings. I have no idea what that screen shot says so I apologize if You did that. At the lowest possible settings You should in theory get the highest possible framerate.... now one by one...turn up the graphic options until it looks as good as You can get it to look and is still playable. You should be able to get it working with a little patience and a little time.

    Your MBO is supporting PCI-E Gen 2 x 16 which is same as PCI-E Gen 3 x 8. rFactor2 has best performance with PCI-E Gen 3 x 16 which your MBO don`t have.
    However try this:

Go to: UserData > player folder and open player.JASON file and edit:

    "Max Framerate":60,
"Max Framerate#":"0 to disable (note: positive numbers only, we always use the 'alternate' method now)",

    "Texture Sharpening":0,
    "Texture Sharpening#":"Sharpen textures using MIP LOD bias - 0=Off, 1=+2.0(very blurry), 2=+1.0(blurry), 3=-1.0(sharp), 4=-2.0(very sharp), 5=0.0(auto)",

Go to : Nvidia Control Pane > rFactor2 profile.

    Maximum pre-rendered frames > 1
Power managemetn mode > Preferer maximum performance.

rFactor2 video settings: Mode > Fullscreen.

    :)

The problem guys it's that sometimes rf2 know how to get peoples mad :D.
I switched from Nvidia to AMD due to the death of my old gtx560(Wich was running the game fine) and now with a R9 380 4GB i have red bar flashing, like my vram it's full, but it is not.MSI afterburner show that only 2,5 gb is used.. See my thread pls http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/29279-Some-questions-for-R9-380-owners
It feel like rf2 recognize only 2 gb, and the red bar flash beacause he's accessing to disk, but in the video setting the ram size it's right..
I have Rf2 from 2012 and i know it can be played smoother, but still i cant have a flawless experience due to this problem.
AA with amd it's another big problem for me. I cant find a good balance beetween quality and performance, the image is fuzzy and the fps sometimes higher, with less image quality, selecting higher values!!!
Any hint for a Amd user?

I also have found that i need very high fps to get smooth video(No tearing, no stuttering). Bucking graphic = stutterin and tearing?

With >180 fps it is smooth. Under that it is not. Not even if I lock fps to 120 or 60. And i have PCI-E 3.0x16

Vsync smoothens the video, but causes delay.

I find it unbelievable that some people get this unsmooth / stuttery experience with theire fat hardware....I bet this is in most cases system (windows)-related.
However I can recommend getting you a G-sync-monitor. That´s fluid as it can get with no tearing at all, at all FPS-rates.

I have had multible windows installs and it has been same thing with all of them.
Then farcry 4 with barely over 60 fps is perfectly smooth.

Im on a Amd system too, fx8320 and a gigabyte 970a ud3p, maybe the problem is here?
I had a problem once with turbo setting, rF2 give me syncronization error in the server and the image freeze, while the ffb continue to react. The solution was to disable turbo from the motherboard, in order to avoid clock fluctuation..
I can not believe that is a problem of horseppower, Hi have the purple bar at 75% max when i race with 29 AI,(12 visible)
Yesterday i have searched for a new chipset driver
for my motherboard, but installer say to me that i have the last version already installed...you can try and see if that help.
