Just a wild guess into the blue: maybe your harddisk is close to full?

Thanks for reporting that, a very small number of people have had this happen sporadically, not sure why.
Glad it installed for you today. :)

    Hi,
    thanks for this great track.
I use 32 bits mod because i use a Ivibe plugin (can'make it work with 64 bits). So the problem is that Matsusaka does not start in 32 bits. (No problem in 64b).
    Is there any solution ?

Well the solution could be to lower track detail settings. But running Matsusaka with a large grid will almost certainly not work on 32 bit due to 4 GB memory limit.

16 IA, with 8 GB memory. No problem with other tracks.
Thanks Stonec, i will try again with less detail.

    Your 8GB RAM doesn`t help... rF2 x86 can use 4 GB, only.

//Edit: Looooooooooooooool... I just tested Matsusaka with rF2 x86, the performance is much better than with x64, at least on my system. Much less framedrops and higher overall FPS. RAM usage was around 2.8 GB. There went something complete wrong.

//Edit2: just want to add: gfx settings everything on high, C6R + 20 AI.

your are right 4GB with 32bit is the limit(or x86). I will try hight setting (not max.) in 32b.

Thank you very much for this great track.
I did not have FPS trouble with my old but still good 770 GTX...

This track is awesome to drive, my favorite yet in rFactor 2. :)

Just one small question: why is the right hand lane of the pitlane, where you actually stop, stepped? It makes it very hard with the FSR car to stop and accelerate. Was it not possible to make it flat due to some technical constraint?

Other than that, a fantastic work of art, even the chicane is fun, and the kerbs, they bite!

    Glad you like it :)
It's pretty much how it is in reality. Stepped at the garage exit, and flat where the cars stop for a pitstop

I've never been able to install this track as it just hangs at 1% on verification until you exit the program using task manager, means I can't join any online server that has this track, I've d/l various times through workshop then d/l the file from the website but neither method of installing the track works.
I've never had a game with as many problems as rf2.

Try installing with the "old" mod manager (ModMgr.exe nd the "bin32" directory. I also can't install this track in the way you tried but with the old modmanager it works fine for me.

    It's like there's a reflect=true missing somewhere - road/terrain :)

That's a good guess. The road and terrain aren't set to reflect. I was running pretty hard up against performance issues. And reflected road sometimes looks not so good. So I'm just reflecting a grey plate on the bottom of the horizon mesh for the road. There are some small snippets of terrain that are reflectable (I think), like some parts of hills.

Now, let's discuss people painting their cars chrome... :p

Oi! It was a test :D . The missing reflections from the surface made me nuts, so I had to go all out on the chrome to see what was up! Finally when I went to another asian track I found relief...

Mainly because the Japanese like chrome on their race cars...

So no chance of having the effect on Japans premier race track? :)

Oh and sorry about the amount of images... Just wanted to show the issue/purpose in the best possible way
