Steam users can join all week long, my League restarts the rF2 Dedicated server to enter a password and use the raceday profile, and the Steam users cannot see this server. As admin, I have to restart the physical server for Steam users to be able to see the server. This should not be needed. Non-Steam users can see and join perfectly.
Just to be sure I understand the steps you take, you are: 1) launching a dedicated server without a password, all is good; 2) stopping that server, and restarting it with a different profile that has a password. From that moment on the server is no longer visible in the Steam matchmaker, but it is still visible in the ISI matchmaker. 3) you reboot the physical server, and start the dedicated server again with the same profile and password Now it is visible again in both matchmakers. Is that correct? And is that what Ho3n3r confirmed? Does it matter how long you let the server run without the password?
I know I did not have this issue with the previous build and pretty sure there wasn't an issue 2 weeks ago.
FIX THIS ISSUE! Admins should NOT have to restart the physical box for steam users to see the server!
Whoa, take it easy... ISI doesn't do hotfixes, if they can work it out it'll be fixed in the next build. Does the second profile use the same port as the first? Have you tried using another as a workaround?
