You're welcome guys, yesterday I had a great fun in a 30 cars field BTCCs, although FWD car (which provides me a very strange FFB if you ask me), the AI cars are very tough on not let you overtake and actually they are not shy to overtake back the human player after to be passed. The same exciting not goes for faster cars as Formulas or Prototypes, they're too fast in my opinion, so I suggest to use 93-94% AI strength to fast cars and 95-96% for touring cars.
Hi ECAR, Did you work out what caused the problem? I read a couple posts back that it may have been OMNI's, however if the problem happened during daytime racing then how would Omni's cause this (unless lights), curious that's all.. I can report that this problem also occurs on Brooksdale Speedway (3PA release), so I'm curious if the problem is more ISI shader problem or a modding problem. I was going to remove all models and test one by one with yours but time escaped me on this one, although it sounds like you may have done this anyway.
Great work and what a dedication you have shown in fixing that issue ! I guess we'll all wait the full LeMans eagerly
Thank you guys, if you find some relevant issue please list here. I've changed so many things that I couldn't point exactly what fixed my driver issue. I would need a testing-team for it. All in all, it must be one of those: -Smoothing groups without faces associated in 3ds Max (common when you detach faces to generate a new object) -Poluted vertex channels table (3ds Max: tools-> Channel info. Race surfaces have to be exported with clean VC,ilumin and vertex alpha channels). In addition, if your material has 2 map channels, be sure there's no more channels assigned (in my case, I got 14 channels tops lol) -Isolated vertices without faces connected -Non-existent or bad objects being called in REFLECTEDENV or CUBE0 lists -Lights without light_glow or vice-versa -TGA textures (convert all to DDS) Sorry for non-scientific approach. I'd start by removing all track and car reflections and night-lights and run an AI endurance to check.
+1. Really fantastic work. Absolutely great. Thank you very much.[emoji106] Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
No problem guys, my pleasure. Just to emphasize the main asset of v1.00 is the attempt to cure the nVidia driver issue so I'd glad if you guys give me some feedback on this regard. In my computer, I got zero problems now (v.0.98 used to be one crash per attempt) but ain't sure if it'd be the case for everyone.
