OK, can you please try taking all rfcmps out of the packages folder?

This doesnot work. I have a lot of people moaning about.

If we set PW on server no one cannot join through Steam.

This is important to be solve ASAP.

+connect doesn't work? Maybe your syntax has an error in it, it's working for me and others. Feel free to PM me on here if you like with an example of your +connect line and I'll take a look.

Steam does not store any rfcmps in the default package folder of rF2 directory, nor does the workshop.

The problem right now is, on a non-passworded server, just having any rfcmps in your default package folder (on the server itself) - will cause a conflict and throw up "Password invalid" when a client tries to join. I tested this yesterday myself, and I'm sure this is the cause of this one particular error when joining.

Also when the server is non-steam?

Do I have to remove the rfcmp's from the (non-steam) SERVER or on my local PC? Or both?!

Only remove the rfcmps on the server, your local client PC should not matter.

Why do we have to do all that to get a game to work? It seem to me ISI should come up with a fix. Just my 2 cents

Normally you don't, and a fix is being worked on. So in the meantime I'm trying to help with a workaround. Don't see any harm in that, it involves dragging a few files from a folder :)

Ok, just performed Fps tests and I'm getting 20-25% less frames in all conditions.

May we have Some ISI word on it? Is that expected?

I was ready to publish my track but some bugs raised with 1080 building, some parts of the track now looks wet for some reason aside the fps loss. This is more dramatic with new Meganes which uses the badly optimized WSGT 3d model (40% less FPS than ISI previous model).

Did you removed all shader files after B1080 install?

Someone here was saying that fps above screen refres rate (mine 60 hz) is not needed, but for me fps capped to 60 causes lots of tearing and stuttering. Is it normal? I found that if I go under 180 fps I start to get some stuttering and tearing.
Maybe that someone was speaking about having 60 fps and vsync.

Have you tried capping it to 59 or 58? I am personaly using Vsync + fps limit 58 through NVinspector, giving me smooth screen but some less lag than using Vsync alone.

Deleted shaders from user data folder but no fun. Game is clearly more jumpy and stuttering than 1052b. I'm about to revert to the previous build.
