Thought it was worth starting a new thread to give other G920 and G29 owners a heads up on this, just in case they'd given up all hope after a year no help from Logitech.
They've finally tried to do something about some of the issues we were all having.
Has the following changes / fixes.

    G29/G920 racing wheels:

Contains firmware update for G920 to fix rFactor 2 forces issue
Added ability to set wheel rotation in game profile
Added ability to set combined pedals in game profile
NOTE: To support combined pedals, G920 pedals axis mapping has been changed. You will be required to remap your pedals (where applicable) in each game.
Added ability to set centering spring in game profile
    Added general force feedback fixes

Well, still can't set rotation in game profiles, it's the sensitivity only which is nothing new. At least that's the case with the G29 :(

If anyone knows the trick that'll be great.

edit: recent firmware is "LGS_8.82.151_x64_Logitech" but they offer already a beta 8.83 version that promise to do so

Sorry, forgot to post the link.

Rotation can be set in profiles and they are supposedly bringing the "Allow game to adjust settings" option in a future update, a setting I find most important.
