I'm looking to mod a 1957 Chevy promod. I have some GMT files that I think I can use but I haven't had any luck finding an importer that seems to work with 3ds Max 2016. Can anyone help me out there?

3ds max 2016 is not supported, I can suggest to use 3dsimed and export to any file you want, and then use 3ds max 2010/11/12, remember to add the plugins that you can find at rF2\Support\Tools\Plugins

Like Cosm1 said: To convert stuff the best tool is 3Dsimed and convert it to a 3ds and import it to 3ds max 2016. But keep in mind that you might need to redo some stuff like smooth shading and normals might be changed UV channels are lost... Might be not...

You can export to FBX==> GJED with the 3ds max 2016 Game Exporter in 2014/2015 format. (tick the boxes the smoothing groups, trangulate and tangents & normals) View attachment 19493
You can adjust materials check LOD's etc in GJED and export the GMT's.
But you'll need to build the .gen file manually. It's not supprted yet.

BTW: ask premission before releasing a conversion in public. :)
