Swap physics between mods?

    Hi, i have a question. I have two mods: one with great graphics and the other with great physics. Is it possible to use the physics from the "good" mod and put it in the mod with the "not so good" physics?

    I want to have best of both worlds :)

    By creating a new mod, yes (obviously?)

    Uncompress your .mas with mas2.exe (see in Support folder of your game) (if they are not encrypted)
    Read the Car Modding Introduction v1.0 PDF available here to get how car modding works http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/devscorner/
    After you can transfer the physics from file to file.
    Some Warnings
    - the suspension have to be compliant with the car (so don't just past the .pm / flex.ini from one car to another without update)
    - tire (TBC & TGM to adjust) have to match to the dimension of the tires (3D size) to work correctly

    It's not so easy.

    Thanks for your help. Would you advise me to take the mod with the best physics as a base and add the beter looking graphics? Or the other way around?

    Wich mod`s you`re talking about? Maybe it`s just change some dds files...

    Yes, it's more easy like this way.
    At final you just have to concentrate on the wheels, try to keep them from the best physics side first and check if it's at the level of the best graphics one.
