Just wow... after last update it's bloody awesome. Please at least try! Even if you don't officially license it, just give thme other names as URD themselves are doing, I don't mind at all as long as we could have it officially supported by you. *Include the EGT too ofc
Hmm, that are payware mods. I buyed them all for rf2 and AC. Everybody can buy them here: http://www.unitedracingdesign.net/#!shop/c9dh All three mods together are around 20 €. I am sure that ISI would not get these mods for free from URD. So why should ISI buy these stuff for you (or us) ? Make no sense for me.
I would be more than astonished if ISI would add 3rd Party Payware Content as "official" default Content.
What you are asking is for URD to just give away their hard work for free, when they have clearly chosen another route - what a brilliant idea!
Nah, it's not. I guess some people have a hard time to understand a few things. And I don't have much patience to explain when it's so basic ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Yeah I'll forget it, some members in this forum sometimes really make you want to forget some things lol (I feel sorry for newcomers sometimes) nuff said
Well that was my first thought. I also think Will meant that ISI should buy out the URD products just like AC did with their C7r... Im sure rf2 would benefit from a full race series with different cars and classes. Even if it is fictional. There is a reason people still talk about GTR2 and upload videos and everyting. I would love it as a full package...(but I'm sure URD will provide us with just that anyway sooo....no point in wishing)
One of the main complaints about rF2 is the lack of content, a LMS car pack would be pretty good and the mod is just too good to ignore.
There are a few reasons why this doesn't really happen... 1) rFactor2 does not simulate hybrid systems. It wouldn't make sense for ISI to try and promote a part of the game that isn't handled properly. 2) Legal reasons? I'm no lawyer but if ISI wants to reproduce these cars I'm quite sure they have to clear licenses with FIA and / or the manufacturers. I think that is impossible for ISI to do. Call them strange names? I'm not sure that would keep the cease and desist letters away. The cars are too well modelled and ISI is a bigger fish than URD But like I said I'm no lawyer. 3) What about the customers who has already bought it? Refund? Free editions of URD's next project? 4) URD might not be interested? Maybe there are more but those are from the top of my head. And the first one is by far the most substantial one in my opinion.
Apparently so. Similar to Kunos with certain specific cars in AC, but way broader. (I am not saying it makes sense)
