hello~~ View attachment 19086 View attachment 19088 View attachment 19087 Try to write down impressions while using rfactor 2 over the last four years. I have been operating the RF2 simracing site in the Republic of Korea. I think it's a great engine isimotor2.5. However, unlike the contents shown in the development phase in 2010 It has a lot of disappointment in the open beta. Still believed the isi. Development speed is slow and I do not think this was a complete game. But I was disappointed every time I add new content development and patch notes during four years. What the hell hangeolkka developed during a time of four years? Please see the photos and videos. 2012 open beta starts before the real load / Reality Tyer damage / new Force Feedback / lighting effects / rain effects / graphic updates (dx9) Now is 2016. I have Rfactor2 exceeds four years after purchase. Open Beta Is different time and not look significantly compared to now. Some of the graphic improvements (dx9) Add 64bit from 32bit Add GJED Steam store launch Day / night adjustment light source Shader / Texture improvements New tracks / New cars new cpm? new tyre? Aside from this is not isimotor2 update. Users are seeking an update for the game engine. The new updated graphics (DX11 / dx12) Tire / suspension / inertial physics engine improvements (Overly expressed more than the fact that deformation of the tire) Delicate modifications required to wear when taking damage vehicles You must modify the physics of the collision and contact of the vehicle. The new hybrid system (energy recovery) KERS / ERS Rain Effect 2012 and 2016 currently there is no change at all. Four years seems too much to forget you're in the most important part. Unlike group until now I knew that there is a change. But it has emerged a totally different game. Rogue System did not believe it had been developing this game. RF2 is this was not done. The update to the game engine is very urgent. So I just leave the first post on the bulletin board thread .... Is not Too Late I would like to. Rfactor heart was aching shame really as the user likes. I wrote this article developers who have looked to the force dwaeteumyeon.
I think its obvious what he is saying... He likes to eat baked beans on toast for breakfast followed by a piece of fruit
I can whinge about it if you like. I would like fuel filling fixed ( minimum too long for strategy ) and my F3 eve updated ( wheels, tyres, general tart up ) and Ai adjusted, lines and fuel loads and so they can pass Monte Carlo and Belgium pits without getting bluffed by boxed cars and slowing in the middle of the track ......... Small beans in the big scheme of things most want. But if they did nothing won't bother me too much and I do like AC and pCars lol
Hey I'm perfectly happy with rF2, finest sim racing of all time. I wouldn't mind if the rain would get some attention, since I do enjoy using the feature a lot, but I will be here when it's all said and done to enjoy the fruits of hard labour. This involving the audience in to the development process, or atleast let them use the product while at it, is newish concept in gaming. If rF2 would've been fully developed internally, and released just before Stockcar updates for example, peeps would be praising ISI for fast updates and extra content, instead of saying how glasiers move faster than they do (which now that I think of it, in this globally warming globe, they actually might be ).
I have become a rF2 fan over the past year because I am starting to sense improvements to the point that right now it is my go to sim. To say that from '2012 and 2016 currently there is no change at all' is totally unfair and wrong. In 2012 for me rF2 was rubbish with very little content and only glimpses of the potential. Since then - in 2015 in particular - the progress has been immense. Sure the original tracks still limited, the original cars also limited, but the platform has allowed some great mods to come on stream eg. Flat6, the URD payware stuff and Juergen has done a great job evolving the Megane Cup cars. If they keep up the momentum then IMO 2016 will be a great year for rF2. If I were ISI I would start working on a serious online portal to mimick the online racing arena of iRacing -the licences, the race admin, results collating, rankings, everything that iRacing do so well without any competition. They should also create stability by becoming stricter on 3PA and perhaps create a mod approval system to keep the standard of mods at a high level. At the moment there is too much garbage drowning out the good stuff. On another note, the downside of rF2 is that too many great race tracks are available but the quality is not up to standard. rF1 conversions are horrible graphically and there are too many of these which spoils the impression of this sim for first timers.
I must say ISI made a great job. Maybe its not the most beautiful sim on the market, but I really enjoy it very much. In 2015 ISI made a big step forward. Also the community in rf2 is fantastic. Fair and respectful drivers and great modding teams. So a big thank you to the ISI stuff and the awesome 3PA / modding teams outside.
Ah yes, do feel free to put words in my mouth. When exactly did I mention D in this thread? To say that nothing has changed in the sim since 2012 is just a ridiculous and false statement, and it undermines the entire argument. To wish for improvements and refinements isn't ridiculous however, we all want that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Maybe ISI should make a donate button on their page, so people who are unhappy with the development speed could give them money for getting more workers to work on rf2 :b. This is not related to previous, but maybe ISI should make something to motivate modders to make content. Maybe giving small fees to modders for mods that exceeds somekind of standards. Or giving a best car/track mod of the year prize (money).
i mean too the firm hafe not progress!! have you see the pitcrew foto from 2010 and now 2016 a red line. or the news from 2012 this game have 3d trees and greens responsed in wind 3d crowds and 2d crowds with animation and now 2016 wath is in nohting. that is not progress!!! i can not anderstand what the firm make the long day. and wen you send a mail to the firm you become not a answer wenn the things come. and wen he answer he say he will blocking my email adress. that is not progress. i send many many mails then i bay me simed3d vor locking what i can make self things in. i locking 2 houers in we it works (that is english i german) and then i habe a lock. then 5 minute later i have my fotosky back (hard in the track can not go away) that is offline schmarotzing modding then i found in a schmarotzing track schmarotzing flags so i schmarotzing me the flags and schmarotzing it in a ather schmarotzing track yes (i hope you not bad) 48 flags in 1 houer reddy track 60 minutes not more that is progress then i thinking werry long over a one pitcrew and working verry long over a pitcrew and then 30 minutes later i was reddy ves 30 minutes that is all that is progrees but the firm have not progress all things years not in that is a fantastik sim ,i have not probleme to say this but the firm is not fantastik and then i make this with 89 tracks in 5 weeks that is progress View attachment 19117 View attachment 19118 View attachment 19119
"The firm" just has priorities, like any other development company. They have chosen to first focus on stuff that matters to most racers, physics and dynamics, rules and ai etc, and leave the more superficial polish for later. All for the best in my view. ISI has made incredible progress with this title since it launched. Still a ways to go of course, but you're dead wrong in saying that no progress has been made. If you say that because you're only talking about lack of progress on the bits and pieces that matters to you, well, then the discussion died before it even got started. There's a bigger picture to be considered here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
