    Looks cool .

Personally I do not like anything on the screen reminds me it is a PC

Any sort of hud spoils my immersion.

Like driving a 1966 car with a digital display, it may be cool and useful.

It is also fantasy and to a lesser extent a aid that drivers of the time never had.

How people debate me using damage or any aid in my room is not realistic while at the very same time
they use digital huds , telemtry aids and teamspeak for help lapping in 1960's !!!

In fact 0% damage, auto clutch or auto gears won't help anyone beat you.......... but 3rd party aids can.

Sorry but you made the post you said it makes a good alt to 3 screens.

I don't agree I think it is nothing more then an aid.

Whether that offends you or not is not my problem or worry. ;)

I said I think ITS COOL

What more do you want ? ........go back to your topic, I never stopped you......... :)

Personally I think 3 screens is a aid as well.

Put most 3 screeners back on a single screen using proper mirrors ( not virtual Fantasy ) they would crash into each other. lol

So I think the app is very cool and very much a aid.

When somebody simulates real life size view and cockpit position it is a aid in your mind is the most stupid claim I never heard.:p

yeah thanks ass0ciator. ive tried that. I just wish something a bit better would exist that really is an alternative for 3 monitors. I don't have space for 3 monitors here.

Helicorsa is an awesome app that keeps people from crashing in to me and just keeps on giving in multiplayer in form of clean racing. I don't use it because I learned to look in to mirrors long time ago, I noticed I don't even see the Helicorsa, so I opted to go old school, but spotter is usually on when racing both AC and rF2.

You should be fine with this + Virtual Mirrors.

Welcome to rF2 forums. The zeitgeist here is, if it's missing, it's not needed.

Looks like a great app. I don't really follow AC much anymore and the last time I saw this, it was in very early development, but it looks like they've done a good job with it.

Whilst I partly agree with DD as I'm a purist too and don't like a cluttered screen, I have to say this would be a very useful tool for rF2. Most sim racers now have a good awareness and anticipation of where other drivers are, but I've raced against some experienced guys who still seem to lack this, or panic when in close quarters. This would surely help them, and would also help new drivers race clean and fair.

I think when everyone started out sim racing they used a 'driving' aid of some sort, so I see this as a good 'racing' aid. I would hope that nobody who understands racing would want to intentionally have contact with an opponent when having a battle, so something like this would help avoid all that.

well its good we all discuss if things are needed or not, but I was really just looking to hear if some developer could be interested in looking into it.

It takes time for people who could produce a mod like this to A) read/respond here in "general chat" B) to find out what is actually needed and then develop the mod. Hence I recommend throwing this thought to RD and maybe here in ISI forums to the modding section and ask if it is possible and/or if someone wants to look in to making one for rF2.

I think it's doable, ofcourse for someone who have a knowledge, as we have a Trackmap plugin which shows car positions on the track. Now imagine this same track zoomed in a lot to show only players car and for example 5m-10m radius around the player. It could be definitely doable..

AFAIK the spotter app is capable of showing a red dot swinging around.
