I've really been enjoying the AI in the Civics. They seem to enjoy trying to outbrake me or other AI cars going into turns and they'll block me from time to time as well, although blocking me tends to end up with me acting like Joey Logano or Brad Keselowski.
There are no undercar shadows at night . Anyway great track Gesendet von meinem GT-I9301I mit Tapatalk
Thanks for the insight, Tim. Btw. the pace car appears very late (pit lane), especially if there are no other cars on the straight. Is this a track issue? //Edit: my fault, it isnt this track, i recognised this on Mills Metro.
Really liking where these cars are going. Only wish we had all running tracks. They will come though. Patience
Just tried my "reflection checker" on this track. Maybe you can add the missing instances in a future update?
Silly mistake when the terrain was split again for night lighting optimization, last minute. RefMap0 wasn't updated to reflect these changes. There's no real need for a "reflection checker" by the way ... just bring up the reflection map in the Viewer ?
I've made a similar reflection checker once One of things that have put me off from working on new shaders - I need the engine to give me the right input. Apart from missing instances there are sometimes problems with flipped faces (noted it with car reflection in road) and lack of shadows (may make a big difference between reflection and actual surroundings in urban areas on a sunny day). But that's another story - tracks are only required to get instances right.
Hi, I great track (great job james). But there is one issue that needs addressing. The AI (road course B layout) really should use the access road to pit instead of breaking off at the last minute in NASCAR turn 4. They will pull down suddenly from the outside and cut you off, and if you happen to be inside of them when they decide to pit, then hello outside wall! This has happened to me 8 times now: Ouch!! In the next update, will you please change it so they pull down on the backstretch and use the access road instead of this.? I think they would definitely do this IRL, and it would help a lot with the above problem. Also would help if they looked before pulling across the track lol
