Yes because the helmet is no generic object placed and provided by the game (this would be awesome though!) but included in every singly vehicle and therefore placed/provided by the mod/modder. Anyhow if the default rF2 helmet was used and was not altered then you should be able to use the WCHELMET material Oh and via the WCDRIVER you are able to alter the face too. Meaning a standard case would be using "Alt01helmet.dds" with your skin.
Yes it would be awesome if ISI put the helmets in a tuning menu so we could refresh and paint them much like the way we skin cars. Christmas Present ISI?
If possible... more people need to stick the driver with helmet under their arm in the spinner like rF1.... that was cool!
I'm sure that could be done in the spinner gen file. Kinda like the ASR cars having the back of the car taken off. I don't think that upgrade stays like that though (thankfully!)
