    Hi guys.

I have been having this problem with display driver crashing for a while now. Basically its like you drive on track, then suddenly black screen (game plays in background), after few seconds games continue normal)
I have got this with gtx titan card then with msi 980 and now same with 980 ti graphic card.

There was a time when the crashes were not happening however now again i get this random crashes and sometimes i can not do 30 min race without at least one crash.

I monitor my cpu and gpu temperature and im running both very cool.

At the same time crashes does not happen with Asseto Corsa and Game Stock Car. I am playing with triple screen.
    Thx for any help

    Intel I7 4790k
    Gigabyte gtx 980 ti
    Asus Maximus Ranger
    Samsung 840 PRO
    Windows 7 64

I had this also for over a year, it is a common random Nvidia problem with rf2.
It began randomly and mostly ended (for now) randomly.

Try the following things one at a time (none of them is a guaranteed fix):

    - A complete reinstall of rf2

    - Update your Nvidia driver

    - Go to 3D settings in your NVidia driver, in your application settings, add rFactor2.exe (in bin64 folder if you are using 64bit) and set Power Management Mode to "Prefer Maximum Performance"

    - Try the TdrDelay fix: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2665946

    - As a last resort you could do a fresh Win7 Install or lower some settings (texture details for example)

    Thx Dino
That's a massive help yeah all this is very strange.
It's weird to lower graphics settings when my GPU has still plenty of power to run on very high settings.
I will apply some changes tonight after work .
    Cheers mate
