rFactor 2 Crashes while Loading all Maps

On any map, with any car, on any series, When about 3/4 the way through loading the map for rFactor 2, the game crashes with no kind of error message explaining why. Just the usual "rfactor2.exe has stopped working"

Is there any known fix to this (from what ive heard) common bug?

I did a fresh re-install and verified the cache, Im running it on stema if that matters.

Can you both post trace files please.
And i wouldn't call it "common" as long as not everybody has it.

 

Same problem here... some series work some others don't (ISI content) and it only crash when I load the AI, loading myself only is fine.
Didn't post before waiting for some fix but now it's starting to get boring.

Like shown on the picture: In the Launchers Settings Tab with "Single Player" activated, write "trace=3" into the command line, click on the save button at the end of the line, start the Single Player, wait for the crash, then move to the folder:
for Steam-Users: ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\Log
for non-Steam Users: [rFactor 2 installation folder]\UserData\Log
There you find the trace file.
If it was not written, run the rFactor 2 Launcher "as Administrator"

 

After reading the posts again i have to add this:
Always control that the Opponents list in the Session-Settings tab in NOT empty. E.g. the Indy Cars have a bug with that.
LOOK HERE and read whole thread.

 

Thanks, that worked. It had Chevy + Honda + Indycar selected so it crashed. Other ISI content was crashing too but not with patience to look for it now to see if it's the same problem.
Except for the Ferrari Challenge mod. If I run with all cars selected it crashes. If I remove them all in the session settings no car appear when I select Ferrari Challenge only, any way to fix it? They aren't in the Race Events so I don't know what to do =/

 

Can you post a link from where you've downloaded the Ferrari Challenge mod?

Just tried it. Mode: "All Tracks & cars", Track:Jacksonville Oval, in Opponents list ONLY "FC" selected and loads normal here.

EDIT If that combination don't works for you, post a trace file please.

 

As I said I can't list only FC cars. It gives no opponent so rF2 gives me a warning saying no opponents selected and won't let me start the race.
Now I loaded with all cars, it loaded some cars from FC among many others and didn't crash.
I don't understand this sim (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

 

There are 2 entries for the Ferrari in the "Select Opponents" list (left field): "FC" and "Ferrari Challenge"
If i "unselect all" and select ONLY "FC", all Ferrari Vehicles are listed in the Opponents list (right field) and it loads without errors.

And that is different at your side?

 

If I remove all and select only FC I get an empty list on the other menu so game won't find any oponents and won't let me start it

Here are my log file crash

 

Seems as if you also have selected an entry in the opponent filter list, that lists no opponents.
Please try the following:
-click on "REMOVE ALL" the OPPONENTS list should be empty as shown in the picture below
-select only the Clio_Cup
-start the race

If it loads normal now, you have to investigate which entry in the OPPONENTS FILTER, that you had selected when the game crashed, lists no Opponents in the right field.
If it also crashes, send new trace file please.

Always control that a selected entry in the filter, lists opponents in the OPPONENTS field.
I hope that ISI will fix this Bug, where a selected entry in the filter lists no Opponents, soon.
It seems to be caused by "UpgradeClass" entries in the Upgrades.ini.
