Has anyone done it yet? I remember seeing something about how to do it for RF1 when it went steam.

Reason for asking is I broadcast our league events and used to do that from a second install of RF2, different configuration for streaming, IE no tripple screen, graphics settings all to the max, TV plugin etc etc.

Maybe you could achieve the same with different player profiles.
I don't know whether you can switch the player profile in the Launcher or UI but at least you could rename the player folders.

Hiya, nah, good idea, but subtly different.

The second install uses different graphic configurations and plugins. So another install is what's needed.

    Thanks though

Well the solution to this one was so simple, it was that obvious that I discounted it without trying - doh

All you need to do is go to your steamapps/common folder and make a copy of the rf2 install in there. Install your TV plugins to that one, run the launcher from there, configure the graphics settings (single screen as opposed to triple screen for broadcasting) and run game. Job done.
