Did you set weather to scripted ?

 

Well what do you know...I was having same problem as DurgeDriven.
Setting the weather to scripted allows the changing of the realroad profiles.
I think in previous builds the default setting was scripted.

I can not tick all the cars and tracks. I have something wrong?

Had my first ever hiccup with an update unfortunately.

Auto updated through the launcher then it moved onto the sync manager part of the installation and at this point it keeps on showing me this error.....

"Removal of file: C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Core\UIData\Core.mas before updating was NOT successful
Adding file from compressed source: C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Core\UIData\Core.mas was NOT successful
Update procedure has detected and error and stopped."

I would ordinarily download the lite installer, but for some reason the download links won't work for me at the moment.

Changelog looks good, looking forward to trying the build out, thanks ISI.

I get this when I try to update through the launcher.

You might try downloading the Lite version and install manually. Must not have liked something.

 

Installed lite version now it says No mod files or installed mods found, I try to install one and I get the same error. I deleted everything and copied my updated game from my server tower and I get the same error.

 

Installed lite version for a 4th time and now for some reason it works.

 

Can you tell us what exactly this means? I use Steam for convenience for a few titles, but none that are really truly multiplayer. Does this mean Steam and non-Steam users can interact seamlessly for online races? And that Steam-based matchmaking can be utilized by both as well? And is Steam-based matchmaking supplemental to the current online system, or will it replace it (assuming non-Steam users can in fact use it, too)? Sorry to be dense, but I am sure I am not the only one who is curious.

 

It means that you can install the dedicated server from Steam when it's available on Steam (it isn't yet).

Thanks for the update!

Having problems with not being able to download vmod from the server. Anyone else?

I always remove the vmod on my client pc to test I can download the vmod.
The multiplayer json file has "Enable Autodownloads":true, (was on false)

If I install the vmod I can join the server no problem

Forgot to add, no spaces in the vmod name "ClioCup_Mills"

 

A "Clio_PC 1.0" is missing and I can't join some servers although the "ISI_Renault_Clio_PaceCar_2010" is present and the only I can find? Any idea/help would be nice.
