So i'm currently working on a new car model and have it in max (2015), It has no smoothing assigned (smoothing groups/turbosmooth etc). When exporting out of max as a FBX i save it without smoothing groups just to be sure. When loaded into gJED the model comes out puffy and what looks like autosmoothed, the geometry doesn't look to have increased (only triangulated). Can anyone point me in the right direction? I simply want to test my model with some textures to get used to the gJED process. Hopefully this image will make it easier to understand.
Okay just tested the same FBX in 3DSimED and it shows as it should with no smoothing. This must be something happening when gJED opens the file.
