What settings do people use for the ai? Want to get the ai more racey and lifelike. Want them to race each other more as well as me. Also would like to see them make more mistakes, miss their braking points etc

I'm interested as well. Running 105% and 26% aggression myself atm.

AI limiter is important. Run it at about 5 percent or less, and watch the AI really go at it. :)

I have limiter at 0. 5 is default ain't it? Doesn't that artificially keep them together at 5 as in it stops the field spreading apart?

I found in the json ai mistakes... I set it to 0.5 but have read the ai will make unnatural mistakes with that... I want them to be a bit more human

I like turning up the aggression to 50%. Doesn't always work, but often enough it's the right setting for me to keep the AI from giving up too easily.

I think 5% AI limiter is default, yes.
100% limiter makes for the most bunched up fields, 0 provides the fastest and most spread out fields.

Maybe changing the value of the following player.JSON entry can help in this case:

    "AI Mistakes":0,
"AI Mistakes#":"a range of (intentional) AI mistakes from 0.0 (none) to 1.0 (sometimes). Anything above 1.0 multiplies the frequency",

This is how the code should look of occasional mistakes?

    "AI Mistakes":1.0,
"AI Mistakes#":"a range of (intentional) AI mistakes from 0.0 (none) to 1.0 (sometimes). Anything above 1.0 multiplies the frequency",

At default the A.I. drives like the Terminator. They're relentless when behind you.

That doesn't suggest that 1.0 is the maximum?

    OK, sorry, my fault!
    However, 1.0 is too much.

I suppose it all comes down to trial and error to find out what works best for the individual. It would be nice to have it in the UI. I think it's an important part of setting difficulty up, if it does what I expect it to.

How about going online. In comparison, perfect AI cannot compare.

I had a LOL moment today, Matt Neal (AI - Civic) spun out on the Formation Lap :D so just be wary if you have a high number for Mistakes! (mine is on 0.75 for Touring Cars)

When you guys are playing around with the ai mistakes settings are you seeing the ai make believable mistakes or does it look false?

Also what aggression do you run with? At the min I have been using 75
