SOLVED Startup error: no dx9.0c adaptor

    Strange. other dx9 games work fine. Have reinstalled latest build to get to the dx files needed. No problems installing. But the problem persists. ?

    The only time I saw this was when I had put a patched nvd3dum.dll into the root folder of the game from before and then updated my video card drivers to a newer version.

    Any chance you did this?

    You are my hero! CAn't remember when or why i manipulated that file but removing it did the trick!
