I was practicing for the VEC first race at silverstone and I had a wierd slow motion moment when driving (no one joined the server, we were on a private server by someone who was hosting it and driving on it by himself and no one left the server) I was the only one who had the wierd slow motion problem. It happend once, but because we are doing endurance races and I have to drive longer stints (2h) it isn't a good thing that happens.

I know it has something to do with the fact I fell out of realtime (so my cpu can't calculate the physics on time). I had it often on my older system (phenom II 955) but never had it on my new (i5 3750k, amd 7950 running +120 FPS) Are there any hints, settings I can change so it doesn't happen anymore?

Try changing sim processor threshold in player.json.
