Maybe because those skins don't install as an "update"? I noticed the community skin packs all have the same version number as the base cars. So the game doesn't see it as an "update"?

    I don't know :) But thank you anyway :)

I checked the 370Z skinpack and it's not really a skinpack, it's a complete repackaging of the original car with the additional skins in the same package. It's standalone and does not require the base car to be installed (as all the required content like models and physics are included in the not quite aptly named "skinpack"). Due to the nature of the URD mods that's not an option for this skinpack, sorry.

I'd love to include them! If we can help with the numberplate/WEC logo let me know.

    Hi all,

I have finished my version of the Aura (Audi) R18 skin. Inspired by the skins from RD, I have decided to redo the skins all from scratch (instead of using templates) in order to increase the size to 4kx4k and added the black Audi #1 and finally I have added Michelin tires to the car.

I have also taken the liberty to add Dunlop tires to the P1 cars and Michelin tires to the EGT cars, which means I have compiled a whole new skin edition. This is why I link to it here, but certainly I would like for Ethone to put it in the top link. If the mas files are needed, just send me a pm. I have also compressed to a zip instead of 7z.

Could someone please give me a link or hint, how to make a Mod-Update for skins as a RFCMP file? Just like the skinpack in this thread. I would like to package some league skins as an Update-RFCMP for the URD-mod.
    Thanks in advance.

PS: I'm using the new rf2 build 1008 and the latest version of the URD mod.

I will try to make brief note.

First you have to make sure that you have all your .veh and .dds files collected in a mas file. I usually call mine xxxxx_AddedTeams.mas.
Next you will have to create a new rfcmp file. That will be the "box" logo in the mas tool. Here you will have to press "Create single CMP package and there you will press the top bar and select "Add new component".
There you have to call the component the same name as the original package file, like "URD_EGT_Ferruccio". Then you will tick the "Update from" and put in the version of the original package and then in version, give it a new number. For the EGT package it could be "Update from: 197" and "Version: 198". The rest is in general optional, however to add that it is a vehicle might be a good idea.
In the mas file section you press the deskdraver (above the red cross) and select you addedteams mas file.
And now comes a little trick.
I haven't been able to package the files without having the original package installed in the right version. Then you package your rfcmp file and you are ready.
The update can be done in the mod manager.

    Hope this helps.

Has anyone begun work on the three new Le Mans and WEC AM's Pro and two new Am's? Because I would like to get a go at it, but it would make it a lot easier to have the original PS versions of the '14 AM's.

RJames has begun work and said he'd be back in contact once he figures something out. I last heard from him three weeks ago.

    Hi,
the link is not working. Is it possible to upload again?

If not, what do I have to do with the AC skins to make them work in rf2? Ofcourse just for me for privat use in AI races :)

    Edit:
The link is working, but you have to copy it and remove the "http://" at the end of the address.
    Thanks for sharing, MHansen!
