I just received a PM from a person, claiming to be WMD asking me to confirm my email so he sends me some money.
The amount must be the same I paid for my subscription there.

Whats up? Is this a scam? Anybody knows anything?

No it is not scam. You have to join the WMD forum with your account and confirm the email for paypal in your account settings. You should receive your money in few days.

Not at all! That was in the T& C that if you are a member they will pay you a proportion of the “Revenues” :) Im waiting for mine too

Actually, Im not sure about the email confirmation, but make sure your paypal email is correct in your WMD profile..

I didnt have to go to their forums, I just logged in my PayPal account and pressed the accept button at the transaction.
Now the payment shows in my account.
Me, a junior member as well, I had paid the minimum fee there was.

I am having a back and forth with one of the admin by PM at the moment... they tried to send the payment to the email address of my forum profile which was out of date. I didn't know the email address I used for the forum had to be my paypal address to!

Same here. I have to say that since it is now effectively free I no longer feel so bad about my lack of use. Like all console-orientated titles, it has some great features and art, but the physics and FFB just aren't comparable to rF2. That being said, I think they fulfilled their mission perfectly, which was to make a console title with better physics than all the other console titles. If I was into console racers, I'd be ecstatic. Just not of much interest to me, personally. I still supported them from the get-go, though, because their mission was one that would help raise the bar for the whole community.

They sent the payment to the wrong email address... so I now have to wait for that payment to expire before receiving it to my proper email address. Shame that there wasn't a big announcement for those that don't check the forum to update their paypal email addresses (although I suppose I wouldn't have received it anyway, having the wrong email address and all) ;)

    ha!

I paid €25.00 to slightly mad in 2012 and today received back €27.50 today. Equates to an average annual return interest rate of 3.23% over the last 3 years. Is that more than my bank provides? Damn....should have read the T&C more closely. :p

I think its because it was a kick starter and they have profit, they have to give back some of it to the "shareholders" ?

It's a honest way to do business, you support them during the start of project and get some profit for it.
