    Hello,

I recently upgraded to windows 10, but I don't know, I only guess my problems might be coming from there.

I have a weird ffb-situation. While driving, all is normally until I hit the curbs, where force pulls to the opposite position. I also think that any disturbance might be doing this, as all is good until I loose trraction.

This means, I feel like my ffb has partially been inverted. I also tried with new drivers.

The last build should not be responsible as rf1 is doing the same.

    Anybody experiencing similar problems?

    thanks rfguy

So, if you drive to hit a curb on your right it causes an ffb response pulling the steering more to the right?

try to re-detect your controller in the controlls settings, and try again, if it helps, u gonna have to remap all of your keys to this new re-detected preset

it actually causes it to steer to the left and it wasn't like this before - is bouncing off the correct behaviour? Before it was like unpredictable.... increasing force, while actually getting further off track.

I think if you drove your right front tyre into a bump...it should cause a resultant toruqe action that is trying to turn the steering wheel direction to the left. To expect it to continue pulling in the direction of the bump would seem rather counter intuitive to me. So it sounds like to me it's working correctly now whereas it was not before.

Well, as it's not behaving too strange and I did not get off track that often, it might be working better now, if this is the correct behaviour. But wouldn't there be any resultant friction, causing a resistance that would turn the steering _towards_ the curb. I have never driven a real car into a curb...

Should be the flat racing curbs.... Nordschleife-kind...

    Thank you for your support.

    I found a controller.ini here: \Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\UserData\player
Don't kow if it is in use. I will post the ffb section here. I cannot access the location you mention (which surprises me)

I will try this plug-in this weekend. Thank you again!

Ok, this explains another problem. I only had a backup of the ini-file, I revived after reading I had to use it to manipulate the parameters but this info is totally outdated as I just learnt. I just
